Pig

Sow Meal / Cubes (6mm) / Rolls (16mm)

These rations are formulated for both dry and lactating sows and are ideally suited to traditional breeds of pig.

Protein: 16%    Bags: 20kg.

Supergrower Pellets (3mm)

These are designed to wean a piglet off milk and on to hard feed, and are particularly useful for early weaning. They should be fed while the piglet is still suckling the sow, phasing the piglet gradually on to just hard feed. A good quality protein is necessary for a great start to a pig’s life.

Pig Grower No. 1 Pellets (3mm)

In terms of both size and protein content, they are designed to help the transition from the Supergrower to the grower/finisher cubes (No.2). For natural weaning, they may be used as the pig’s first form of hard feed. It is possible to wean straight to No.2, but each pig’s situation must be considered carefully.

Pig Grower No. 2 Cubes (6mm)

Our milling technology has allowed us keep the crude protein in this grower/finisher low, while maintaining high levels of essential amino acids (e.g. lysine). This really suits the slow-growing, traditional breeds, helping them develop a lean, quality carcass over time. As you may wish to keep your pig until six months of age, this formulation will keep fat levels down, while taking the pig to ham, pork or bacon weight.

Protein: 16%    Bags: 20kg

Feeding guide: A basic guide would be 0.5kg of feed per day for every month of age. For example, a three-month-old pig will require 1.5kg of feed per day throughout its fourth month. From five months onwards, do not feed more than 2.5kg per day.
